Being well is just as much mental as it is physical, so be sure to find time to get your head clear. Too busy? Work it out - your happiness level impacts everyone in your life, so it should be at the top of your list to feel good. NOTE: Consult your doctor or licensed medical professional before making changes to your diet, exercise or medical treatment programs.

Some things you can do today:

  • Smile more and greet your neighbors and passers by. Science proves smiling and laughing releases endorphins, reduces cortisol levels, and increases oxygen intake. Your body doesn't know the difference between a fake smile and a real one, so fake it 'til you make it!

  • Clean out your life! Get rid of the stuff you don't need or use. Visual stimulation can add stress; make your home a calming environment by eliminating excess or keeping your "projects" out of sight until you are ready for them
