There are things you know you shouldn't do right now but don't think about in terms of the larger picture. Like cheat meals or days. Or "ooh, just a little extra cheese". Or "...but it's so COLD outside, I can't go for a walk". Two or three or four of those days in a week and you've got yourself the perfect plan for NOT feeling any better. I lived that life for many years.
